Curriculum

The Junior School Curriculum is anchored around the Literacy and Numeracy strategies. Traditional teaching methods compliment the best of the modern. Assessment, both formal and informal, is regular to allow careful tracking of progress.

Our structured curriculum includes: Science, Technology, ICT, History, Geography, Art & Craft, Music, RE, French, German and PE. The programme is carefully designed to enjoyably develop autonomy in learning, creativity and high academic standards.

A full extension programme utilises interesting classroom displays, TV programmes, exciting trips and speakers. Junior School facilities are excellent and include a good provision of ICT and audio visual equipment. Top juniors also use Senior School Science and ICT facilities. The Junior Choir, Recorder and Ocarina Clubs are flourishing. Additional extra curricular clubs include football, netball, drama, creative dance, chess and recorders.

An international school, we have pupils from many backgrounds. We promote an understanding and tolerance of others' beliefs and points of view.
