Students have opportunities for the acquisition of social / management skills in their role as prefects. They are expected to 'lead by example' and provide invaluable support in school life. Our Sixth Formers have privileges but they also carry responsibilities.

  • Most students will take four AS subjects in their first year in addition to E.S.B. and General Studies courses. P.E. is still compulsory. Subjects offered at A2 are: Art, Biology, Business Studies, Chemistry, Chinese, Computing, English, French, German, History, Maths, Further Maths, Music, P.E. Physics, Psychology.
  • The Sixth Formers have their own suite of rooms at the top of the Hall with cooking, communal areas and study rooms.
  • All students take part in a wide range of extra-curricular activities from playing for school teams, taking part in Young Enterprise, giving support to younger students in one to one sessions etc.
  • The Enrichment Programme widens the curriculum and includes the English Speaking Board qualification and a week of suspended timetable activities.

We have a wealth of talent in our 'small but friendly' Sixth Form, come and join us.
