A message from our Principal, Mrs Storey.
As a team we are here for the Quinton House community.
It is a challenging time for people all around the globe but we would like to reassure you all that our Quinton House spirit prevails through this time and that we will be extending that spirit to all of our students and their families over the coming months.
The education of Quinton House students remains our utmost priority and our team have shown endless team spirit in the face of adversity, overcoming challenges and working tirelessly around the clock preparing for distance learning for as long as we need to. It’s been all hands on deck, with support coming from all corners of the school community to ensure there has been as little disruption as possible. Everyone has shown their passion, determination and drive to succeed through this challenging time.
Our I.T team have been relentless in their mission to ensure that all of our teachers have been set up with access to video conferencing tools for teaching classes to avoid disruption to learning. We’ve trained all of our staff, prepared extensive user guides, training videos and additional support for teachers, parents and students to ensure that we can continue to not only give our students the education that that deserve, but to ensure the wellbeing of our team, our students and their families.
Quinton House will be keeping our doors open to students whose parents are Key Workers throughout all of this. We have a team of dedicated staff on a rota who will be in the school over this period so that these students can come into school, ensuring that these important Key Workers can do what is necessary to support the efficient continuation of our country’s core services at this time. We offer our thanks to all of those who are doing everything that they can in this difficult situation, and we hope that we can continue our support for as long as is needed.
We are fortunate as a Cognita school that we have been able to learn from the efforts of our colleagues across the world, especially in Asia, and we will continue to learn from their successes and implement these into our own teaching and learning plans, while we develop ourselves and improve in any way that we can to deliver quality teaching to our students.
As the Principal of Quinton House School, I am so proud of everyone who is working so hard to ensure we do everything we can. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me. (firstname.lastname@example.org). I will be happy to speak with you about anything that you wish to discuss.
As a team we are here for the Quinton House community, and we are prepared to meet any challenges head-on – with determination – and to continue educating our students to ensure their successful future.
