Duke of Edinburgh's Award

The Award

Quinton House School actively runs the Duke of Edinburgh (D of E) Award throughout the year for pupils aged 14-18. The award is a voluntary, non-competitive programme of activities in and outside of school.

The D of E programme gives young people the opportunity to experience new activities and develop new skills. There are three progressive levels; Bronze, Silver and Gold. Each level comprises 4 sections (volunteering, physical, skills and expedition) with an additional residential activity for the Gold award. Click on the links below to find out more about each of these components.

For more information visit the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award website here.

Pupils can sign up to D of E at the beginning of every term. Expeditions take place between March and August each year.

Mr Clarke is the Quinton House D of E Co-ordinator. Email him for more information.
