Curriculum & Learning

Social skills, emotional development, routines and values are of paramount importance at this stage, and these are promoted through our structured learning programme. Fine motor and cognitive skills are encouraged and we emphasise the acquisition of language, reading and writing skills.

Forest School

Children benefit from ready access to a variety of outdoor spaces including a beautiful woodland space where the natural environment is used as an ‘outdoor classroom’ with our qualified Forest School leader. Singing, imaginative role-play, music and story time are just some of the inspiring activities that take place in Forest School.

Latest SIS Inspection Report

Our latest inspection report notes: “Most children exceed the level of development that is representative of their age thus ensuring that they are extremely well prepared for the next stage of their education”.
