Part Time Mini Bus Driver (Term Time Only)
We are seeking to appoint a hard-working, enthusiastic Driver to work in our thriving co-educational independent day school on our impressive Grade I listed site.
The successful candidate will be required to mainly transport our students from designated pick up to points to school in the morning and return them at the end of the school day and help to keep our buses in a suitably presentable condition at all times. There may also be a requirement on occasions to transport students and staff for sports events, educational trips, or other events as required for which additional payments will be made.
Candidates should be able to work well with others as an integral part of our transport team to assist a seamless operation of our transport needs whilst being confident in their own abilities to be able to work unsupervised when required.
Although successful candidates will be given a regular route they should have a good knowledge of the local area and be able to assist with or sap with alternate routes (route learning will be given) when required.
Full Category B Driving Licence
(Any candidates with 6 or more penalty points will not be considered)
Full Cat D1 driver licence
Current Driver CPC & Digital Driver Card.
A knowledge of EU drivers hours and an understanding of Working Time Directive rules for Mobile Workers
(Training to gain these qualifications may be available for suitable candidates).
