Nursery

A supportive and friendly environment.

We welcome children from the age of 3 years into our happy and homely nursery setting which is the first entry point into our Preparatory School. The Nursery Department is housed within the Preparatory School building and has full access to all our school facilities, including our amazing grounds and Forest School.

We have a very simple vision – to help every child thrive. We love to inspire our students to explore their creativity through everything that they do. We nurture their talents and encourage their characters to develop throughout their time with us.

The learning process in our nursery is carefully embedded into every session and by the time our children move on into Reception they have a true love of learning.

``I feel my daughter is really thriving and Quinton are supporting her development. I'm so proud of how she has progressed over the last 2 and half years.``

A DAY AT NURSERY

Both the morning and afternoon sessions include group phonics or numeracy, some time for free play and adult-led activities.

Each session incorporates a blend of communication and language development, social and emotional development and physical development. Sessions incorporate a wide range of activities and experiences, which change on a daily basis.

With a snack break in the morning session and tea in the afternoon session, children have time to relax and socialise together, and an optional afternoon sleep is also available. Children who are with us for the full day also have a nutritious lunch that has been prepared by our talented onsite catering team.

With the option to join us either full time or part-time, we run both morning (8am to 1pm) and afternoon (1pm to 6pm) sessions.
